Attorney


Picture of Steve Doyle Attorney Steven P. Doyle grew up in La Crosse and obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Steve attended law school in Madison and then returned to La Crosse to open his own law firm and raise a family. He has been practicing law since 1986 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Steve has a diverse background in all of our practice areas, and served as Court Commissioner for Judge Michael Mulroy.


As a native of La Crosse, Steve takes a great interest in the La Crosse community, and presently serves as Chair of the La Crosse County Board. He also serves as a part-time faculty member in the Political Science Department at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. He teaches American Legal System as well as State and Local Government.


Steve is married to Gloria Doyle, Family Court Commissioner for La Crosse County, and they have two children.



Paralegal


Paralegal Jane Peterson has been with Doyle Law Office, S.C. since 1988. She received an Associate Degree from Rochester Community College and attended Western Technical College for paralegal education. She is a former member of the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin and the WTC Paralegal Advisory Board. Jane regularly participates in continuing educational opportunities to keep her knowledge current in many areas of the law.


Family law and probate clients in particular work closely with Jane as she helps guide them through the legal process. We understand that people appreciate quick answers and reassurance during a time of stress. When you encounter those bumps along the way during your case, Jane can usually help smooth them out for you.


Legal Assistant


Legal assistant Becky Henry has been working in the legal system for many years. She will normally be the first person you meet in our office and she’ll see to it that your initial questions are answered.
